a suprising lunch break that was.
my ex-boss (the one that i liked) decided to treat us for lunch, we ended up in an ordinary thai resto. ordered somtam thai, kai yang(grilled chicken), plah tot, and khao neow(sticky rice).. see here. well except for plah tot (fried fish). i guess the link'll explain what somtam thai is.


by the way i bit my tongue while enjoying tom yum noodles with chinx. someone prolly remembered me or... i just need to shut up when eating.

Sabon-sabon

A couple of weeks ago, we went to walking street at Pattaya, me, Nonoy, joel and Ate Jo. the two guys have been staying here for quite some time now, but it’s ate jo's first time to check the place. The number of tourist are not that many unlike before, I may say about 30 to 40% less than the last time I visited the place. most of them prolly are still afraid to go here at Pattaya because of the last Coup'd'etat that happened in Bangkok.
we checked most of the bars that are 'a little bit' wholesome for ate jo, its also my plan to introduce her to the area first before showing her the hardcore stuffs.
One hour of walking and entering different bars, I decided that she's now ready to see, what Pattaya can really offer to tourists visiting this place.
I really can't remember the name of the 'bar' but I definitely know how to go there, located almost at the end of the walking street near the RollingStone Bar, we entered. ate jo's mouth dropped when she saw what's going on inside. bare breasted ladies wearing only their bikinis dancing on the poles, and at the main ledge, there are two lovely ladies wearing only bubble foams to cover their body. you can uhmmm actually 'assist' them in cleaning their body.
we took a sit near the pole dancers, since I don't really like the foamy girls plus am not sure if its cool with ate jo to sit there. we order beer and we listen to the music while enjoying the view. after a few minutes the foamy girls went inside to take a shower and two new naked ladies took their place. one of the foamy ladies started to flirt with our group, I whispered to one of the waitresses while pointing to ate jo, 'khun chop puying, jing jing', in english, she really like females. the waitress gave her a surprise flirty look.
I asked ate jo if she would be willing to give one of the foamy ladies a puff from her smoke, she agreed and approached the lady. imagine her surprise when the foamy chick wanted to kiss her. ate jo cursed me when she realized what I told the other waitress.
twas a fun night and at one in the morning we decided to go back home, and ate jo's cursing, vowing never to go out with me again at any bar that I’ll recommend.

how to waste time in the office

start the day by eating breakfast on my table, browse philstar.com, inq7.net, cnn.com. check my emails on yahoo, and four accounts at gmail, my job search results at jobsdb, jobstreet, bayt.com, and other australian jobsearch sites. checks highfiber, train miners at darkthrone, check my blogs: acer3naprick, pricktion and hayfani, at 11 start working by checking my office email. eat lunch at 11:30, go home and watch tv, then goes back at the office before 2 pm. continue working, while chatting at ym and gtalk, wisely chat with a colleague at singapore discussing minor details that's related to my work, and major details on possible employment there. at 4 pm, goes down and eat some noodles outside the office, goes back to work at 4:30 talk to my boss, and proudly show the chat archive that deals with the work, boss looks happy and leaves me alone, continue highfiber browsing, chatting at YM and Gtalk till 5:40, pretend to look stressed before goin home at 6 pm.

1. How often do you blog? i'm currently maintaining my personal blog (this one), pricktion, and hayfaniverse plus my other secret blog at blogdrive, with my multipy and friendster account, i guess at least once a week?

4. What do you do most often when you are bored? i'm easily entertained. i count how many taxis pass by, i (try to)play my guitar, watch tv, play some pc games, write some stuffs, clean the house (really!!!), jog, do some situps( yes...really!!! ), and continue the hayfaniverse storyline

5. When bathing, which do you wash first? my private part, it is scientifically proven that it makes you adapt to the temperature of the water faster if you wet it first. (i don't dig heaters)

6. Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight? oh yeah, didn't took a bath too, ayoko nga mapasma

7. What color looks best on you? almost any color, except orange (i don't own any orange clothes) but i like yellow, white, and green.

8. What’s your favorite alcoholic drink? whiskey+soda water and coke, but i prefer chivas on the rocks. beer,hmm.. Corona's number one next is SML.


9. Do you believe in heaven and hell as a real place that each of us will go to after death? well, the theory of duality proves that there is always a partner for the other one, what's the sense of heaven if there's no hell (viceversa).

10. Do you find that you have more online friends than offline friends? well, i do have loads of friends, most OL friends are now regular friends, and most regular friends are now OL friends, (i'm working abroad)

11. What was your favorite subject in school? school meaning highschool or college? highschool - all science subjects, i rule biology, chemistry and physics (fuckin prof in science 1st year loathed me that's why i didn't get the best in science award) college, my major computer subjects ofcourse, plus our electronic subjects :D

12. Are you a perfectionist? no body's perfect so why bother?

13. Do you spend more than you can afford? oohh yeah, i need to hire a private accountant, i'm bad at handling my money

14. Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved before? it is better to try and fit then never to try it again and spend your nights masturbating.

15. Do you consider yourself creative? in an imaginative sort of way.. :D

16. Do you give yourself the credit you deserve? almost all the time, i even celebrated in advance for losing 3 kgs of my weight thus resulting to a 4 kgs increase.

17. Do you donate time or money to charities? yeah, i'm planning to join highfiber's DBAA this december :D

18. Have you recently done something yourself that you’ve criticized others for doing? no. i tried really hard not to criticize them specially if i know why they did it. :P (pahaging siguro pwede)

Preview to sawatdee !!!

a couple of weeks ago, i tried to visit the places that i used to go to most of the time here in bangkok.

friday, first stop, MBK, one of the best places to go shopping here in bangkok, i used to go here often just to watch some movie, since they always give free magnetic stickers for the ref or waste time by going around the place. Best place to buy your spicy sampaloc at the second floor near the jewelry area. i went here just to get my new KTC visa mini credit card.

second stop, Siam Square, a hundred metre walk away from MBK, one of the posh place to go shopping here in bangkok, i also like to watch movies here but definitely not shopping (things are way expensive here) after i received my new mini visa, i decided to use it on some fancy italian restaurant here in Siam square. to my dismay, the resto's already closing when i arrived. hungry and frustrated, i decided to jump to the next mall.

third stop, Siam Paragorn, the newest posh place to visit here in bangkok, less than one year old, it's the place where the MTV Asia Music Awards 2006 was held. plus it has an ocean/aquarium theme park under it(try to imagine its size). i finally found a simple italian resto near the food court, food price is average, i ordered pizza and alfredo something pasta. i initially gave my visa mini to pay for my meal, but it's not workin with that bloody hypercom edc terminal. so i ended up using the visa mini's normal size twin brother credit card. my meal = 350 baht.

saturday morning, fourth stop, victory monument. yep i know, i practically almost always get off at the victory monument bts station, but i don't actually go around the place unlike my first year here. my derma appointment is at 9:30 am yet i arrived at the hospital at 10. (the derma hospital is at victory monument) everything went fine and my dermatologist told me that i'll have my peeling schedule next month, 4th of november.

saturday afternoon 5th stop, Pantip Plaza, the IT haven here in the heart of bangkok from aaa batteries to usb electric fans... you can buy it all here. i made a quick stop here to buy me some CD-Rs, so i can backup my files, mp3s, ebooks, and comics. i love this place as much as i hate it. i'll tell you why if you'll ask me.

6th stop, Central World Plaza, the largest
lifestyle shopping complex (as they advertise), which was under renovation/construction for the past 9 months. i watched the movie 'the devil wears prada' hoping that anne hathaway will show some skin. went home after nine and prepared myself to sleep early. at 10:30 pm, Mel called me and asked me to join them at Khaosan road.

7th and final stop for the weekend, khaosan road, khaosan literary means rice granary in thai, one of the favourite streets of farangs (white foreigners) here in bangkok. the place has bars and pubs to boot plus minor tiangge and the best place to have your hair braided. i went out with Mel and his thai gf Mam, James and his russian gf Helena. my two notorious chick magnet friends look so timid and behaved with their respective partners.
