Where did the yuppies go?

i'd been working for almost two weeks now here in makati, but somehow i'm missing those regular guys that i usually see 5 years ago.where did they go?

yuppies : young urban poor professionals who usually wear long sleeves polo, dark slacks, leather shoes, occasional necktie and a regular bag either backpack or shoulder bag.

i'm surprised to see, those uber-cool clothes that young men usually wear to go to their office.
am not against casual clothes, but methinks, it's appropriate to wear working clothes to your job.

like when your parents asks you..
"anak, san ka ba pupunta at naka-japorms ka?"
"nay, magtrabaho po."
"aba.. san ka ba nagtrabaho, sa disco bar ba?"
"hindi po, sa opisina po sa makati.. sige po alis na ko."


oh yeah... change.
